Here you go. Did mine today and took pics. Ignore the dirty ass end....its been raining all week. Starting out with a clean car isnt needed since youll need to rewash and then buff/polish it anyways.
'Tools' needed:
Dental floss (or the handy flosser i used)
Cordless drill (because its slow....)
Body shop eraser disc (meant for removing pinstriping)
Regular household rubbing alcohol
Paper towels.
Starting out:
Flosser:
Hooking up (use a sawing motion):
Halfway through the G:
Removing the SXT emblem (just pull off):
All gone, no chrome:
Eraser disc:
Again:
Again, installing into base on drill:
How to use, make sure its at an angle:
D completely gone:
DODGE completely gone:
SXT badge almost gone:
After all this is done, use some alcohol on the paper towels and good old elbow grease to remove the remaining glue. No harsh chems needed, wont mar or scratch if you use towels like Bounty with a high cotton content.
Wash and buff/wax car as usual Enjoy!

JESUS!!!! Resize the pics to a decent file size instead of 1.8MB!
I would have used WD40 instead to remove the glue, it works faster than alcohol.

Heh, sorry, fixed now. Actually the glue is pretty wimpy. Im surprised they dont fall off the car. It was just too hot to rub with your thumb due to black paint and friction heat.....Diablo0 wrote:JESUS!!!! Resize the pics to a decent file size instead of 1.8MB!
