SRT-4 Swap
How hard is it to do an SRT-4 swap to a 1st gen neon, I can get the wiring harness w/the engine, and i can get the motor mounts, but i'm guessing i'd need custom motor mounts, what sensors do you have to swap/ all electronics and stuff, and also would I have to cut the firewall, or move radiator forward. I just need to know b/c I can get a good SRT-4 motor for $550 right now so I need to know THANKS

You can't use the factoy wiringharnesses, you would have to get an aftermarlet EMS and some sort of crank trigger wheel to get it to work. I don't think you have to mess with the core support or firewall, but you might have to run either a 1st gen DOHC intake man or someting aftermarket like an Indy. Transaxle will not fit period, you are stuck with the T-350.
I'd jump on that engine though, even if you can't use it. That's a steal for $550
