I on the other hand have never raced on the street, which is funny because I doubt a lot of you were even born when I was first exposed to organized street racing.

my dad had a 65 Buick GS when i was a kid, what "street racing" went on in the west side my dad was in on. later on he had an 80 Chevy silverado 4X4 with a bored and stroked (to 383) 350, hooker header, performance rebuilt Quadrajunk and a manual valve body trans... nothing like smoking all 4 tires... alas, it cost him a few transfer cases... just thought id share.
