1st pic of both of my Neons. First time the ACR has been out of the garage at all in months. Yeah it's really dirty.

update:

The car was dropped off at the frame shop Monday night, they got it all done yesterday and it's now at the body shop next door. Looks like it will be done sometime middle of next week.

Driving it out there Monday, I put some fresh gas in it and it was running like a raped ape! Ask Jason, I dropped it to 3rd about 70 mph, ran it up to 7400rpm and powershifted to 4th and broke the front fucking tires loose! I've never had a Neon roll 'em over on the 3-4, and let me tell you losing traction like that at approx. 95mph made my butthole pucker a little.

I was hoping to get in-progress pics of the work being done, but with my work schedule it doesn't seem likely at this point.

Got out of work a little early for the holiday and was able to go up and snap some pics.

Trunk floor came out good, still some stuff visible but it hardly seemed worth paying a bunch more labor on something like that. I'm gonna paint the rest of it myself with some Krylon, i had debated that before the accident since it was all scratched up and I don't have trunk carpet....

Frame work was done at Harrison Frame and Axle, and the body/paint is being done by Jack Detzel's, both in Harrison, Ohio.

Got the call, it should be ready tonight. Only thing is they say it is out of gas and won't start, when as Jason can attest I put gas in it on the way to drop it off. Not sure what is up with that, I didn't write down the mileage when I dropped it off.

Now I have to negotiate with my boss about getting out early, since yesterday was my turn in the rotation.

Umm... yeah... gas doesn't disappear like that unless they had to drain it and remove to do the work, even then they should refil it.

You filled up right before we left to go there. I'd fucking bitch when we get there expecially with how much gas costs now.

It's home!!!!!!!!!!!

:headbang:

It wasn't out of gas at all. The owner said he didn't know what his guy was thinking. It had a quarter of a tank in it, about what it should have (I only put a few buck worth in it that day).

I'll post pics in a bit, even though it does just look the same as it did.

Pics!

But I have to start off by saying that the people who worked on it did a great job. The panel gap on the trunk is awesome, and the work on the quarter looks awesome even in the tell-all black. They buffed down both sides, and the car seriously looks better than it ever has. The only evidence that anything bad happened is there are still some superficial tweaks in the trunk floor. It wasn't worth the labor to make the trunk floor perfect, and it sorta gives the car some added character.
