Weak Rods

SO my motor finally completely 100% is done now... .. why do neon motors have such weak connecting rods, I didnt even drive my car real hard but yet one of my rods went... fuck it all now im gonna have to pay towing expenses and shit just to get it repaired and Im not made of money...

Sounds to me like you should have bought Eagle H beam rods, they're as lightweight and strong as rods come.

Yes eagle rods are the greatest!! Im going to quote my insurance guy on this one..."The neon was made as a "THROW AWAY CAR" neons do the dumbest things having weak rods is just another dumb thing!!

Isn't evey car made after the 70's "throw away" ...... this is a disposable world after all.

no pf2neon is working on it right now, its at his place. No I wouldnt be stupid enough to blow it right after I got it back... lol
