June 19th!!!!

If you have not attended an F1 race you really need to, one of the most amazing things I have ever seen.

The cheap lawn tickets are $60 (called "Season Pass") and will get you in for Fri, Sat, and Sun. I was hooked up with pimp Penthouse tickets at last years race, and from being there we could tell that the cheaper lawn tickets are the way to go. Get there early, set up a blanket, and lay in the sun watching the cars go through turn 9. This year will have even more action than last year, with the last qualifying session moved to Sunday morning, and the addition of the IRL Renard Infiniti cars running in as well as the usual Porsche GT3s and the kids in the Formula BMWs.

So who's up for it?

I'd go but I dunno if I'd want to stay there up there for 3 days if thats what you were planning on doing.

Hell no, not all 3 days. I'm thinking just Sunday.

Sunday has the last F1 qualifying session, an IRL Infiniti Rernard Challenge race, a Porsche GT3 Cup race, F1, and then the little Formula BMWs. Yeah you could go the whole 3 days to watch qualifying and practice, but Sunday is most of the action even if you;re not using up all of the ticket.

Let me know if you are interested Jason, it's really a good time and well worth the money.

yea! i saw that on the news last night!! i would've been pissed if i spent money on that race!

Damn! Good thing I didn't go... I would have been mad after wasting $60 on watching 6 cars.

I wouldn't place it solely on Michelin, this coulda been worked out. I blame everyone. Just like the NHL, too many millionaires arguing about retarded crap, meanwhile leaving the fans in a cloud of shit.
